Asset and Maintenance Planning

Commercial building portfolio

We were approached by a large property owner/management company to standardize their asset and maintenance procedures for their commercial building portfolio. The goal was to create a corporate standard for building operators and facility managers to follow. The project included creation of the following:

Documenting of mechanical, plumbing and life safety equipment.

Photographing all equipment

Maintenance plan for each piece of equipment

Labelling of plumbing and mechanical equipment to reference existing drawings and DDC

Created checklists for property managers to carryout annual maintenance checks on the building.

The project was completed 3 years ago and we have been meeting every year with the building operators and managers to refine the processes and further reducing the administration time and the cost of maintenance.
